About AADM

AADMAniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) is a non-profit organization incorporated in Mumbai, India with ‘disaster management‘ as its principal objective. The basic aim of AADM is to save life and property in the event of a disaster, be it natural or manmade.

AADM is the governing body responsible for the functioning of ARCAD (Amateur Radio Club of Aniruddha’s DMVs) Club.

AADM supports in imparting training and creating awareness in every individual about managing various disasters of whatever kind, (natural or manmade) and to build across the globe volunteer bases to handle the disasters effectively. Till now, AADM has trained Disaster Management Volunteer (DMV) force of about 75,000.

Further it is also entitled to frame schemes and/or rules & regulations for attaining the aforesaid object and can establish or render help to any institution / club engaged in the alleviation of human suffering.

Considering the same, under the supervision and guidance of AADM, ‘ARCAD’ was formed with an intent to promote the interest in Amateur Radio communication and experimentation; the establishment of Amateur Radio networks to provide electronic communications in the event of disasters, emergency scenarios, and even during peace times to foster education in Ham Radio communication by the means of non-commercial communication.
