Antenna Workshops
An ‘Antenna’ or an ‘Aerial’ is the most fundamental component of any transmitter, receiver or transceiver. An antenna directs incoming and outgoing radio waves. They are made up of some good conducting material, preferably a metal like copper, steel or aluminium. An antenna is supposed to be the ‘starting point’ of any receiver or the ‘endpoint’ of a transmitter. The conducting material catches or radiates the electromagnetic waves into the atmosphere, thus enabling wireless connectivity to the device.
For this, the ARCAD Club regularly conducts the Antenna Workshops at various places.
