AADM Ham Communication Seva During Anant Chaturdashi 2024
At the request of the Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika (@my_bmc), HAM operators from Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) had set up HAM Radio Transmission stations across eight beaches in Mumbai to provide timely updates to BMC headquarters.
The beaches included Gorai, Marve, Aksa, Versova, Juhu, Mahim, Dadar, and Girgaon Chowpatty.
In addition, our AADM - HAMS from across Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, Dombivli, and the Thane region were also connected to the network. The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation had provided a location to install a high HAM antenna in Dombivli to establish communication.
As a result, approximately 22 locations across the length and breadth of Mumbai and surrounding regions were connected via HAM radio by the DMV HAMs of the ARCAD Radio Club, operated by AADM.
