The Kolhapur Medical & Healthcare Camp is not only a beacon of medical service but also a testament to Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu’s foresight in training Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) to operate HAM Radio for seamless communication. The licensed DMVs of the ARCAD (Amateur Radio Club of Aniruddha’s DMVs) play a crucial role at the camp, held in the remote Pendakhale village, about 30 km from Kolhapur City.

With mobile networks inaccessible, the ARCAD DMVs set up VHF antennas to ensure smooth communication and coordination. A dedicated HAM Radio Control Room at the campsite keeps the camp operations running efficiently, linking medical teams with volunteers as they reach out to distribute essential supplies to surrounding villages.
