Workshops

To make every Ham independent, as well as self-sufficient, workshops are regularly conducted by our ARCAD Club. There are various workshops dealing with both the technical as well as non-technical aspects of being a Ham. The technical workshops include various types of antenna making, soldering, learning and practicing morse code with new techniques and technologies, cable making, repeater assembly, handheld device maintenance and its operation, basic fault finding in sets. The non-technical workshops include assembling a set, using a set on various types of power sources like batteries, solar cells, hand cranks, etc., assembling a set in a car using a car battery and mag-mount antenna, and methods of teaching.
